They're very CLEAN. I was expecting more bass but everything is super even. I think they'd be great studio headphones. If you want more thump I'd get something with extra bass. But I do like them a lot. I think they'll get better as they break in too.

I have the Bose Quiet comfort series II headphones. That's the version from like 3 years ago though  so maybe there's something with an even better balance of base and cleanliness

I gotta test these out or just read a shit ton of reviews i guess 😩

I got the AudioTechnica MTH50. If I had to get new ones I'd probably go with the Sony WH-1000XM3. Sounds like from the reviews they might have the balance you're looking for.
