When they could've just said Bey gradually evolved as a vocalist and musician
There's a 5-note scale that most singers especially gospel singers are doing when they do runs that is known as the Pentatonic scale. That's where the group got their name from
and he's saying Bey has learned to use different scales as she has evolved
Which use different notes than the 5 in the Pentatonic scale
Also the chords in her harmonies... if you could read sheet music or play piano evolved from being based on simple chords which are closer together to ones where the 3-4 notes are farther apart and sound kinda different and weird

July 31st was quietly a "safety net" date that could move up at any time but there's no guarantee of course. I wouldn't mind them sticking to the date.
