Baby Mama is a great song but it gets viewed through a different lens because it's a single .

I need this album now. I hope Borderline gets released very soon.

True. People who didnt like the song as much as a single will like it more in the album Im sure. Its a great track. I think Brandy sometimes feels like her 1st single has to be some uptempo banger and it doesnt have to be that way.

But yeah, I watched this a couple days ago. Its pretty obvious the sound of Baby Mama wont be the sound of the album. Where its placed on the tracklisting is enough to let us know. But I def think it'll slap even more on the album as a whole. Especially with it coming after High Heels.

Yo I peeped the finger cross too!!! I hope they not thinking about pushing the album back or something. I think Brandy might be feeling that she need to drop borderline and push the album back a month so people can get a real feel of how the album will sound.

Brandy should had just dropped Baby Mama and Borderline at the same time to be honest.

If it gets pushed back, whatever. Throw 3-4 bonus tracks on the album and I'll be fine. If nothing else, at least Baby Mama will have time to grow and bolster first week sales/streams. And if she releases borderline soon then that'll hopefully add to the album streams too. Baby Mama video views are still growing. And most of the recent comments are "OMG, why didn't I know about this?!" People love Ghan, they just don't know what she's doing, lol.
