Are they gonna actually have it in store at target on July 31st?

That's what I've been wondering.It was a struggle to find CDs in stores 4/5 years ago and probably near impossible now.

I was in NYC during TwoEleven's album release week and got like 3 copies from the big ass Best Buy out there

In my own productions i wanted more of a soundscapes experience and an extension of the song to take its own course outside of the song ( i also had a thing for a song ending at 3:46 cause of Afrodisiac)
so when i created it i created like 3 different drum beats 2 extra sections that really didnt have much to do with the song and sometimes and tho it all sounded good
for the song it wasnt really the tea but it sounded good on its own and after all my work of building and creating the tracks i didnt wanna just deleteit so once the song ended I added it at the end for a vibe out until fade out lol

so i think thats why we have the beatchanges not to lose the origina visioon of the track but still giving the song whats best for it

Lol yes just like timbaland mixes the  vocals behind the production most of the time
he wants his mess to stand out 

but when i thought about it i was like i totally get why they did this lol

I was thinking this I feel they should strike while the iron is hot Rather Be is getting rave reviews and everyone is really feeling/vibing to it this song has a lot of potential.  I would just make it the single and hold off on Borderline for right now I wouldn%u2019t even be mad at the move.

Am I missing something? I understand ya'll are stanning the song but outside this board and some twitter stans no one is taking notice. It's not like it's storming the charts 

I could see postponing Borderline if this was really doing something but since it isn't there's no reason to change course, especially when there's already a video treatment for the next single.

It's doing what it needs to do as a teaser and having a soft release. It's still in the top 5 on Itunes R&B which is good considering who is ahead of her. I could be wrong but it peaked higher than Baby Mama and that had a damn video.

The important thing is that people LIKE it and the feedback has been positive so the interest and stats should pick up.

!!!!! And the song was just released Tuesday. I mean...what more can we want? Not folks expecting a no.1 debut. social media is talking about it...that's huge at this point.

Sorry, I'm still trying to find where I said I expected a number 1 debut. If you'd read on in the thread I explained that I don't think it makes sense to push back Borderline in favor of this over some tweets. I don't expect this or any of her releases to come out the gate smashing.

My point is, this song is getting more praise in a few days than BM has in months. It's not simply tweets, it's the general public showing interest in your song which will THEN possibly get it to "storm the charts" if that's what you're looking for.
