"There's no such thing as competition other than competing with myself. I have respect for all the women you just mentioned. I saw Monica recently at an event and she's always welcoming. Very boisterous too. I'm more laidback so it's different to be around people that are the complete opposite. We're not close but she's a sweet girl. Mya is adorable. I wish her much success."

Do you ever talk to your famous peers? I've met Brandy a couple of times. She's really nice and she's very talented. I know Monica really well. We're great friends and call each other from time to time. I don't believe there's competition. We all have our own style. I respect them all. I don't believe in competition. I believe you have to look at yourself first, when things don't go that well.
