Brandy getting shit off her chest and singing through her pain on this album doesn't necessarily mean she's still in that space, IMO.

I think she left a lot of it on the album and it's over with now but that's just my interpretation

Whatever happened between them, I'm happy she's no longer under his influence and has moved on. I'm glad she channeled all of her hurt, frustration and energy into this album. It makes B7 all the more substantial and genuine; I'm sure it was very therapeutic for her.
