Like rape... it's black and white to me
sexual assault is way too gray
there's a claim going around that a friend of mine sexually assaulted this girl he hired as his assistant
He says he didn't rape her and I believe it.
Now if things were getting hot and heavy and she couldn't stop it fast enough, that's no reason to bash someone.
And that's just what kinda person I am too. If a guy (or girl) ... is touching me, or showing me their privates. I have the choice to say, hey I want to explore. You putting your penis on me is not gonna kill me, even if I don't want it lol. Could be just a misunderstanding
... now if I refuse and they hit me over the head and TAKE me, then that's clear cut rape.
It is already difficult if he hired the woman. He put her in an awkward position because he is the one with power. Even if he didn't mean harm this is very unprofessional and he should at least take some responsibility for that.
There are plenty of people who don't want to lose their jobs/ lose money and let it happen..because they are afraid or freeze in the moment. Sometimes people feel overwhelmed and don't even know how to say no. It is a gray area that is why he should have been more careful.
