Rather Be is beautiful but it cant beat Brandy's possibly best slow jam/ballad ever

I was just sayin to a friend last night that Victoria Monet is the only artist I can see working with Bran to replicate her Full Moon album. Some of her songs gives me Full Moon vibes and Rather Be is a When U Touch Me/Like This hybrid to an extent. 

But yh, WYTM >>>>>>

WYTM is probably one of Bran's best vocals EVER. And a full, fleshed out song. Rather Be is a cute interlude mess.

I love the vibe of Rather Be. I won't say it's the better song, but it's the one that I prefer. When You Touch Me has a strong melody, and I love it, but man... Rather Be makes me feel like I'm floating.

I'd listen to Rather Be before WYTYM. WYTM is a great song but it's not one I go back to often. Too drawn out for me. I have to be in the mood to listen to it and I usually only listen to it if I'm listening to the whole album.

Look, I know FM isn't perfect. But RB and WYTM is not really a great comparison. Shit, just based on the production/sound quality alone I don't think B7 should be compared to FM. Afro seems like a more apt comparison to me.

A lot of people have stated that When U Touch Me is Brandy's best record. Rather Be is good cause its reminiscent of the Full Moon mids and ballads. By 2021, some of y'all will change ur minds.

I would too. And it doesn't need to be a competition between her songs and albums. I enjoy them all for different reasons. And the way I listen to music, I really only listen to full length albums. I don't really do playlists or listen to albums on shuffle. I prefer to digest it as a full cohesive body of work, so I'm always listening to albums.

If I feel like listening to Full Moon, I'll throw it on. Same goes with B7. As for which one I prefer, it just depends... still, Rather Be is a magical moment that I absolutely love.
