This is much different than HUMAN, what are y'all listening to? This is one of her best best albums as a collective and storytelling but each album has its own strengths and weaknesses.

its not the albums are not the same but both albums thematically both represent an introspective look in to the human condition
so

its definetly her version of human
which was also poorly executed but with better production

I am sorry you are upset by this and I am sure there will be lots of great and objective reviews  and in and of itself it is a solid effort
the album is simply entirely to somber and down and out for my life right now id rather have more upbeat soundscapes and themes
but no worries

it will be okay

To each their own. She sounds rough and ragged on a lot of these songs to me. Typically her vocals save a song for me but here they actually made things worse. It might be a combination of the mix being rough too but her tone sounds very brassy/steely on a lot of these tracks and not light and warm as I'm typically accustomed to. Again, it's just my opinion, and it all comes down to preference. I know a lot of people will disagree but for me this album vocally is her most sloppy and unrefined, next to NSN.
