Bran blew it out of the water, lyrically, I haven't had to sit with her lyrics in this way since Afro and some of her unreleased work. I want to fight people for her. AND her phrasing.

There's something almost transgressive about this album. Coming off of a season where she hasn't always been well-supported it would've been easier (?) to take the traditional contemporary R&B route, but she veered to the left once again.

Really in awe of her.
