Britney has always been very respectful to the culture and just been herself with it. I think that's why she's always been embraced by the community. It never felt forced. But it's just so hard to say with this sensitive ass generation..... I was pretty shocked to see Justin hung on the cross. But idk.... she probably would've been like an Ariana. They give her a pass.

Britney was also the first (maybe only) pop girl I saw support the BLM movement. Ment n all.

Of course she would've been lynched and criticized but that's what makes a good artist. Moving the needle a bit. I'll never forget what Nina Simone said once . That as an artist she had the responsibility to reflect the times, and what's going on in the world through her music. Britney never had the best voice but she was moldable. And she had a little something special in her where she can effortlessly make a hit.
