There are images online of Rihanna with bruises and the navy was trying to distract by posting praise tweets. But the pics are not from the Chris Brown incident..they are more recent. Her reps confirm she fell from an e-scooter and is healing.

Not the case -- her rep tells us Rihanna was on an e-scooter a few days ago and ate it after the scooter flipped over, smacking her in the face and forehead.

We're told it looks worse than it is and she's healing.
