Rodney ain't cooking shit and hasn't been cooking shit that will make Brandy anything
more or less than she is/was.

Her most critically acclaimed music is without him.

Furthermore, a lot of Rodney's hits had more to do with the dominance of the artist rather than his music.
Sam Smith was a no one until Stay With Me
Destiny Child weren't a FORCE until Say My name which is arguably their most known record
HER isn't some DOMINATING force in music like that, so her music is EXCLUSIVELY why she's been recognized. Hard Place being nominated for Record and Song of the yr isn't because she's just some beyonce type.
Even the Michael Jackson and Toni Hits tbh. They  were both coming off of long breaks that were VERY scandalous.  They needed heat and went to him.  His music wasn't the reason?  :omf:

Well if a couple of Grammy nominations and sharing a production credit w/ two other producers is SUCCESS then Brandy is doing just fine.

Say my Name had more to do with the break-up and scandal of the group, not so much Rodney.

His work with Micheal was a flop by MJ's standard and contributed nothing to his legacy. Butterflies is the only song from that album people remember and it's not his. Rodney's work with Toni is nothing to be dragging Brandy over cause his work w/ Toni hasn't performed much better...maybe worst actually.

N you're right HER isn't dominating the music scene...which is my point. Brandy has even more critical acclaim and Rodney ain't her producer.

Ur doing alot to negate his work. Now THIS sounds bitter  :plzstop:
Say my name was number one and went on to be the best r&b song of the yr because of their break up scandal? :kii:
You Rock My world was literally Michael's last  solo top 10 hit and if that was a flop for Michael's standards then what about all the other songs he released before it that FLOPPED and didn't go top 10 :plzstop:
I'm not dragging brandy over Toni but he gave Toni a great song and also HER last top 10 hit, so I'm trying to figure out what you're talking about. You're going out your way to discredit him and it just kinda sounds like hate :plzstop:

Im not negating anything, if anything you're giving him too much.

Why TF would I be bitter? At what? For what?

He hasn't had much success recently and I don't think any of Brandy's accomplishments really depend on him being around. They did great work, and she continues to do great with out him

Yeah my success for Bran isn't determined by a Grammy Nom

My success for her is dependent on her continuing to be the dominate inspiration in her genre and her remaining relevant. She's currently doing both while Rodney is on Vlad TV.

Can you explain what these "BIG THINGS" are, because a Grammy nomination for one/two songs isn't groundbreaking.

Bran got nominated for a Grammy...so what else he doing? Right now?

Eh...

lol... this thread has went completely left

y'all remember it is about Rodney talking about Aaliyah right? lol
