I saw Brandy live several times, but my favorite performance of hers was at a local Black Arts festival. She didn't lip at ALL and she kiiiiiilllllllleeeeeedddddd. Even when I saw her at some smaller venues she sang live... either that or, she had a stellar prerecord. She did lip most of her set at this Jazz festival I attended though. The crowd didn't notice.

She performed at a jazz show here in Detroit a year or two ago, and did her whole set live. This was not long after she had a couple off public moments... I was surprised,  and she killed! And showed me that she can do all those songs and the big notes live if she wanted to. Her vocals weren't perfect but her voice is so dynamic and angelic! I think that gets lost with the pre-records.

Idk what happened with post-production of this soul train performance but what they did to her vocals took away the dynamics of her voice...

This performance FOR ME was disappointing. Not because it's a shit performance but because my expectations of here were high and I know what she's capable of. We've seen her murder stages.

The YouTube video of her ST performance is sooooo much better.

Summertime

She has to carry a journal around with her, so Kween's anxiety is really bad.

I remember going to see her live in London during the Human era and the girl lipped the whole set.

Brandy is a studio girl like Mariah and that is OK.
Brandy can sing live but
her mic isn't on.

just like Mariah's.

regardless of whatever excuse you concoct babe.

I think this is a huge part of it.

Whitney Houston is my mentor.
Well, Whitney already asked you why were you down there.
Ch... I am sick of her shenanigans.
What happened during that Ultima concert in 2006 was not a lesson.

Yes it is better. I watched it 3 times just to be sure I wasn't rocking with it lol. You can hear her mic is definitely on...

The bitch has been recording studio vocals that she couldn't perform live even with an autotuned mic at her lowest volume for over 20 years now.

But I can see why people want a live mess from Ghan

so much of her artistic identity is rooted in her vocals and vocal ability .

I personally don't care but I get it.

I'm bossy/I'm the first girl to scream on a track

Mel.

Bran and Monica were lovely
but I must say Bran, I'm getting bored of all the prerecorded vocals, I need her to sing live more
it's not like she's giving choreo....

Andthecategoryis...

STILL NO PROOF of Whitney performance being lipped, just crazed fans thinking they know everything. Y'all not gonna act like my girl dnt sing live and slay hunty cause at the Baltimore Festival the mic was on!!!
