I think she was going for that with some of the affectation she put on her voice and the way she cut off some her notes. Imperfect! Impromptu!

The overproduction of her vocals is a dead giveaway at this point. I dunno who's doing them but she needs to hire someone better and pay them more. Not sure why she's serving this when the census was some of the best she's ever sounded, and that was all live, except baby mama.

Brandy was not the only person lipping on the show. Y'all are so extra critical for no reason. Probably why she feels like she has to be perfect each time she performs. Major artists lip sync. It's just a part of the business.
