Oof I just saw the Say Something performance and I liked that one a lot better. Her tone was kind of reminscient of her BET Right Here performance which I LOVE. Still obviously lipped but her choices were more believable than the Soul Train one. These runs on the second verse

I think the auto tune was just for effects since the song has electric sync stuff in it. It worked

I really adored that segment of the other singer's praising her, c'mon Queen Naija representing.  Loved that lil carttoon.  I'm really in love with era y'all. This is how you promote a fucking album, she finally gets it!! The performances were all great brandy was high spirited, her fashions was good, the choreo was tight and nice. Say something was the standout with its front and center vocals, the camera work, the dramatics of it all!!!!!!! It was the high note during what about us for me......

I DON'T REALLY CARE FOR THE STAGE VOCAL AND PRODUCTION OF "BORDERLINE".
I THINK SHE COMPLETELY CHANGES THE FEEL OF THE SONG TOO MUCH.
IT SOUNDS LIKE A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT SONG. I FEEL IT'S TOO EARLY TO GIVE THAT SONG
THAT MUCH OF A LIVE PERFORMANCE REBIRTH.
PEOPLE WHO NEVER HEARD THE SONG YET WON'T EVEN RECOGNIZE THE STUDIO/ALBUM
VERSION WHEN THEY HEAR IT.
I THINK IT'S OVERDONE TOO SOON.

I just overall can't get into the pre-records anymore. I think it's because I just LOVE live instrumentation, background singers, etc.
The pre-records are just a bunch of song remixes with some choreo. It just strips away everything I love about live performances. If this was Britney or something, I wouldn't care, but from a VOCALIST, I want a LIVE experience all the way around.
