people don't realize it's not just about "power" that makes someone a skilled vocalist. keke has lots of power and a extremely beautiful voice but what brandy has that others don't is a unique tone. and she knows how to use her tone to her advantage. B&P is a perfect example of that. behind all that power, she still knows how to use her tone in the right places. she knows how to run in the right places. she knows how to use her voice as an instrument which many people don't know how to do. you can have all the range in the world, yell as loud as you want, and run for hours but if you don't know where those things fit and how to showcase your TONE, then you sound like just another big church girl with a big voice.
