I think people should be able to freely express how they feel about an album from Ghan - whether it be positive or negative. She told me herself that she loved the honesty and realness from BSource. We never have been about fake praising tea.

But, as with many things , sometimes there's a more...charming way to express disdain - especially considering the setting.

There's a difference between making a little slick/funny comment here and there and giving a "FUCK this album! It ain't SHIT! It sucks! You heard that? It doesn't deserve acclaim! " at every given opportunity. Like, going IN.

So I can understand Mac's feelings and need to express them, but it's just reasonable to expect that there may be some push back considering the consistency/intensity of these critiques and the setting we are in. Some people may just say "OK we get it ! 🙄"

But we "play" drag the Bran albums we don't like constantly on here, this is the first time i've seen people get so irate about it. I dunno if  it's because of the long wait between 2/11 and B7 or y'all just extra sensitive cause of quaratine but we BEEN doing this.

ive seen a bit of "irate" tea on both sides of it tbh.

Some of the comments I've seen have been far from playful love taps. I can understand why the girls are pushing back.

I just stay out of it for the most part. But I think both sides could benefit from trying to understand the opposite side.

But I definitely agree with the longer wait time possibly being a contributing factor of the mess.

We waited nearly a decade for tea, so when I see a bit of ... aggression in the critiques I have to keep that in mind.

I've been a bit easy on GHan but that doesn't mean everyone else will.

I appreciate your mediating King dahl. For me it's the fact that the same gorls were lashing out since day one about those who didn't like the album. There was never a chance for civil discussion about it, IMO. But I get what you're saying, about both sides.

like its okay to say an old album is trash

but you cant say the new one is then your just miserable and hating

And truthfully, I am not a hater. And I'm not on here shading her every day  The other day I was in a thread praising Human. I love Brandy and have probably spent more coin supporting her than y'all who are mad.

Fact is, I'm not a fan of b7, and that keeps y'all in your feelings. What's more, it seems like most of the people who were on here aren't really feeling the mess either, which keeps y'all even more pressed.

I don't believe that this is a solid body of work, so when y'all go on and on with the effusive praise, I'm obliged to share my opinion, seeing as it's a discussion forum and all. If that makes you mad then I suggest you ignore me or grow the fuck up and deal with a different opinion.

I love Brandy and will be looking forward to the next mess (hopefully without pamper ki). But in the meantime y'all will deal.

Yeah it's good to see her get her flowers, I just hope she comes harder with the next album. Cuz after 8 years, this one isn't living up.
