i think funky is at the very least grossly irresponsible for pushing that "it ain't colorism or featurism u just ugly!" Mess . That's very damaging and he should know better . It goes beyond OG . That is something people have used for years to dismiss black women and silence them.

he doesn't have a responsibility to represent this situation as colorism even if it isn't just because colorism EXISTS. we need to be able to judge these situations on a cases by case basis.

and he can judge it without using phrases , word for word , which have been used to dismiss black women and their plight.

ppl often say blk women are being "aggressive" when they are not at all, but in fact are simply standing up for themselves. THATS wrong.

but when a black woman is ACTUALLY being aggressive, im not going to shy away from calling a spade a spade because "oh! they be using that to diminish black women!"

well if there's even just  one experience that OG had from a woman who is within this group from this show that was EXPLICITLY racist/colorist, how is it unreasonable for OG to conclude that there is even more underlying racism, featurism and colorism with others on the show as well?

How is it fair to say that it may all just be in her own head , a figment of her imagination? And that what she experienced is only because she's "just ugly"?

... when shes actually had explicitly racist/colorist experiences as a result of her participation in this same show?
