reminds me of that scene in the people vs. OJ Simpson
where chris darden was forced to do a pre-interview with mark furhman
he came back and told the DA (marcia clark). "i cant do this. he's too blatantly racist. can someone else take him on?"
marcia said, "what did he say?"
he replied, "he was very 'polite'. with me. kept saying 'yes sir'. it was very condescending."
she said, "ummmm if he was being polite, how is that racist?
or condescending? he's racist because he was extra polite to you?
u good? boy get back in htere lol and stop acting like he called u a n*gger lolz "
he said , "NO its a feeling. i cant explain it. but i dont think this is gonna go well."
it was so hard for him to CONVEY what he FELT to her because she wasn't a black man.
i can imagine the frustration is the same for someone like OG
Could Chris Darden have had his own issues with an inferiority complex? Was he thrown aback by Mark, or any White man answering to him as "sir?" Was THAT what didn't feel right? His inner turmoil and trauma manifesting inexplicable feelings of unease, by the mere presence of a successful, confident White man calling you "sir?" If his words were actually "take him on", I mean its clear.

"take him on"..... Those weren't the exact words used .
I should have used a more popular reference maybe .u obviously haven't seen the 'ovie
But He was in no way portrayed to be intimidated by mark furhman. At all
He was portrayed to be a man who knew racism when he felt it but had issues explaining a "feeling" to a white woman who lived in the suburbs
But honestly even Marcia Clark woulda taken him off of marks mess if he showed her a pic of a monkey he sent to him.
And wouldn't have said "are u insecure? It's just a monkey.

"

Maybe he isn't a good example at all in this OG mess. OG has faced mess that is much more overt .
