Yea Sharon isnt wrong BUT there are some things I just don't like White people saying. Describing Black people by their skin tones in casual conversation being another one.
this.
Especially with her family history

I mean I see her as a "Black woman" and in context of the whole Royal family drama a lot of us black British people connect with her because of the UPSET her complexion alone causes.
Anything that upsets that white status quo, we're right behind it.
that's understandable.

We kinda dipped into this convo a bit before

Ultimately we see her getting the "black treatment" regardless of how she self identifies .

So that's something people can relate to.
!!!!
I don't think anyone actually see's Meghan the same way we see Beyoncé or Naomi for example, but she IS a POC at the end of the day and looks like one and she gets treated like one and I believe she's fully aware of that.
Also if she was fully white we wouldn't be having this conversation anyway, her blackness has been magnified and put on a platform for whites to attack and for blacks to support and use as an example of racism.
IMO ofc
And THIS is another reason people jumped to her defense. I dont think the bitch is leading any BLM marches but we do recognize she is a POC and because that has almost been VILIFIED, we jumped right in fckn formation behind the bitch. If yall wanna make her race a negative thing than we're gonna support her OFF TOP accordingly. The rest is semantics as far as I'm concerned.
50% black, a quarter, a pinch!
Idgaf how black the bitch is. Get tf off of queen's back  :trannyjblige:
This is my pass to say WHATEVER tf I wanna say about the mess she releases so I don't wanna hear SHIT! Baby mama is a mess of a song btw

What ur saying makes sense but

She just doesn't identify as a "Black woman" herself.

there are biracial people like Halle and Traci Ellis who do . And have every right to.

But Meghan doesn't . Saying that isn't "taking away her Black card " because you can't take away something she didn't claim to begin with

Does that make sense? :disgusted:
oh I agree
I just wanted to add my little two pence as to why some blacks may gravitate towards Meghan, and its because they are famille with her treatment

GRAND ETERNAL SUPREME

This thread just proves the 1 drop rule bbvvvv

I doubt any black girls are walking around thinking they can see themselves  physically in her, a lot of them just have empathy with her treatment and struggle as a POC in a white ass country and institution.
A lot of are just happy someone of colour has infiltrated a white establishment and shook things about and a good piece of them including myself just love seeing the white bitches SEETHE because someone they think is inferior because of her race is living a life they could only dream of, a life that was only reserved for "pure white bred of Nobel stock"

I think Black ppl really got in when Megan's mom was revealed
her mom is dark skinned and pretty much a regular Black woman so ppl instantly thought she was raised with the Black experience
and of course her marrying the prince unfortunately is such a big deal, so I get it.
some self-hate, and white acceptance desires in there but I get it
s

What is there to "get" tho babes?

It is kinda weird to see a lot of  black women identify so strongly with someone who looks remotely nothing like them

I try to understand but part of me still doesn't get it

How do u see urself in her at all, or feel she represents  u? Like where's the connection

I was referring to Afro bro
pay attention lol
um... ok

Did you PM it or post it in the thread 😂

Afro acknowledged he didn't quite get it

Which is normal because it's BS

So when you said you "get it"

I was confused as to what there is to "get"?

But! Anything to deflect from logic I guess! That is what you black ppl do best! HAHA!

I simply asked what is there to "get", you gave some excuse about having a dark mother (which didn't make sense, but I didn't go there)

Afro said he was trying but didn't get it. meaning it's a stretch.
all I ask you was... "what is there to 'get'?"

then you just .... flew off the handle "I'm talking to Afro cuz!", like some hood "gangbanger"
which is typical aggressive str8 cis black male behavior 🙄

but ... I guess you're used to me handling you with more UMPH ...
so .... the part about having a dark mother so you have a "black" experience didn't make no sense and was dumb to me... sorry

just say you made a mistake
you should've asked "how did you get it?" or "why do you get it?"
clearly you do know "what is there to get?" but still asked a dumb question
but clearly the "it" to "get" is why Black ppl identify with Megan even when she looks white
I shouldn't have had to spell that out bro
what is going on? :uhh:
