and it's starting to feel REALLY urban from the pictures and stuff

I shouldn't feel like this show belongs on UPN

That's good actually! That's exactly what she needs right now. Brandy being apart of the next urban tv obsession would do wonders for her. Don't sleep on the black audience.
IDK, Robyn's Back!!!🥂

Here y'all go getting all excited again and y'all know most of the time Brandy just talks. She was not about to shoot no Rather Be video when she claims she cnt even remember those little bit of lyrics. Bran has been saying a live album has been coming for how long???? Okay I'll wait lol. Bran is still focused on this project/brand with Ray J that nobody wants or cares about. Queens is about to be her focus and I highly doubt we are getting solo music of hers this year or even next year.

Am I the only one that caught Bran say she fell into a slight DEPRESSION (and shyness) during this B7 era. Most of the non-delusional fans on this board could tell something was wrong, she was even weird and out of it on most of her interviews but nooo some of y'all are just in fairytale land. 8 years of healing and muva said she was gonna tell her full story and be everywhere for B7 ERA and I don't feel like we got that. What is really wrong? I just want her to be okay and this industry has clearly fucked w/ Bran's head and emotional state. Something is not clicking.

When she did that b7 listening party and she went through some of the songs.  The pain was all over her face.  I am happy her parents are with her.

Borderline was definitely more than a song, moreso an outcry for help
and reading these comments I see why
sometimes ppl just see your talent and want NOTHING else  :dead:
then when somebody comes and says
"hey that's weird, why does she keep switching directions so much, that's weird, why does her mood change so much?
that's weird, why does each album sound ENTIRELY different?
that's weird, why does she hate a particular album one year and love it the next?
that's weird, why does her weight fluctuate?
that's weird, why are her relationships unstable?"

I we start asking these questions we're branded a Brandy hater
all the "Starz" she's worked with and put on, but ... who's gonna really care for her and her well being

QuoteSigns and symptoms
Borderline personality disorder (BPD) manifests in many different ways, but for the purposes of diagnosis, mental health professionals group the symptoms into nine major categories. In order to be diagnosed with BPD, you must show signs of at least five of these symptoms. Furthermore, the symptoms must be long-standing (usually beginning in adolescence) and impact many areas of your life.

The 9 symptoms of BPD
Fear of abandonment. People with BPD are often terrified of being abandoned or left alone. Even something as innocuous as a loved one arriving home late from work or going away for the weekend may trigger intense fear. This can prompt frantic efforts to keep the other person close. You may beg, cling, start fights, track your loved one's movements, or even physically block the person from leaving. Unfortunately, this behavior tends to have the opposite effect—driving others away.
Unstable relationships. People with BPD tend to have relationships that are intense and short-lived. You may fall in love quickly, believing that each new person is the one who will make you feel whole, only to be quickly disappointed. Your relationships either seem perfect or horrible, without any middle ground. Your lovers, friends, or family members may feel like they have emotional whiplash as a result of your rapid swings from idealization to devaluation, anger, and hate.
Unclear or shifting self-image. When you have BPD, your sense of self is typically unstable. Sometimes you may feel good about yourself, but other times you hate yourself, or even view yourself as evil. You probably don't have a clear idea of who you are or what you want in life. As a result, you may frequently change jobs, friends, lovers, religion, values, goals, or even sexual identity.
Impulsive, self-destructive behaviors. If you have BPD, you may engage in harmful, sensation-seeking behaviors, especially when you're upset. You may impulsively spend money you can't afford, binge eat, drive recklessly, shoplift, engage in risky sex, or overdo it with drugs or alcohol. These risky behaviors may help you feel better in the moment, but they hurt you and those around you over the long-term.
Self-harm. Suicidal behavior and deliberate self-harm is common in people with BPD. Suicidal behavior includes thinking about suicide, making suicidal gestures or threats, or actually carrying out a suicide attempt. Self-harm encompasses all other attempts to hurt yourself without suicidal intent. Common forms of self-harm include cutting and burning.
Extreme emotional swings. Unstable emotions and moods are common with BPD. One moment, you may feel happy, and the next, despondent. Little things that other people brush off can send you into an emotional tailspin. These mood swings are intense, but they tend to pass fairly quickly (unlike the emotional swings of depression or bipolar disorder), usually lasting just a few minutes or hours.
Chronic feelings of emptiness. People with BPD often talk about feeling empty, as if there's a hole or a void inside them. At the extreme, you may feel as if you're "nothing" or "nobody." This feeling is uncomfortable, so you may try to fill the void with things like drugs, food, or sex. But nothing feels truly satisfying.
Explosive anger. If you have BPD, you may struggle with intense anger and a short temper. You may also have trouble controlling yourself once the fuse is lit—yelling, throwing things, or becoming completely consumed by rage. It's important to note that this anger isn't always directed outwards. You may spend a lot of time feeling angry at yourself.
Feeling suspicious or out of touch with reality. People with BPD often struggle with paranoia or suspicious thoughts about others' motives. When under stress, you may even lose touch with reality—an experience known as dissociation. You may feel foggy, spaced out, or as if you're outside your own body.

My point is Brandy lives on a whim and is mostly unstable, I'm assuming she has a VERY good accountant or Sonja & Ray supervise her  ..... like conservatorship

We have to come to terms with what we see with our own two eyes. Love you forever Brandy!

OMG yessss I totally agree w/ all of this and I can see why she falls out with ppl and many see her as "fake" outside of who she is as an artist, although I don't think she means to be. I have heard from MULTIPLE ppl who have had relationships w/ her that she isn't who we think she is and can spazz out on ppl and I always defend the Queen but I understand that she is human as well. I'm just coming to terms that we aren't going to see her in that space that we all want to see her in until she is completely healed. Everything seems to come in small doses where she is happy and genuinely inspired and then it just vanishes which I can totally understand and relate to.

Cause we can tell the real from the faaaAAAkkee...when will you get the picture?? We just want the Queen to be well and fans to stop living in lala land w/ these expectations. Why is Bran waiting for TinyDesk to reach out to her when they could get that set up themselves...I've seen artist w/ way less pull get on there. Why didn't she do the Terrell Show? Our self sabotaging Queent

Bran seems the happiest/most validated and fulfilled when she's doing a TV show/Broadway mess. Maybe for her own sake that's her best career path moving forward. She says music is her number 1 and her passion but her actions tend to speak differently. I'm just burnt out on all the empty talk and speculation to end up with the exact same result over and over. I'd rather just not expect music from her anymore than get caught back up in the hype of "is it coming soon?!" that is never true and ends up just breeding resentment. Truthfully, no shade, it will probably be several years until she releases another album of new music.

I mean... it's like, fans are fans and just that. We're not Brandy, in her circle, on her team, etc.

This constant cycle of setting y'allselves up with these lofty ass expectations only to be let down because she's not following the 120392-step plan you've planned out in your head :dead:

At the end of the day, she's gonna do (or not do...) whatever the fuck she wants to do. The sooner y'all accept that, the happier you'll be.
