i actually enjoy the "slave movies" but it really depends

sometimes it can be too much and very triggering

but ultimately slavery is a part of our history and legacy as black americans

and these movies actually shed light on the evil and disgusting treatment that our ancestors faced at the hands of white people

jews would never want people to forget the holocaust and all of its graphic details. i kinda feel the same about movies that touch on slavery.

but again it REALLY depends on which one i'm watching . some are just too triggering/angering and super sad.

Or just give us something simple, as a group of blacks dealing with real life. Write about a black family and how they just deal with regular life struggles, just so sick of everything race related! We beg for years to get more blacks in the horror genre, it's finally movement, and guess what? It deals with race! That shit ain't entertaining anymore. I'm over it!
