And it was very interesting for her to say (as we always hear)

That gay was always around her ie friends, her team, makeup, etc.

But when it hit close to home that's when she crumbled and had to face how she was conditioned NOT to tolerate anything LGBTQ

We always hear that tbh

Someone can have LGBTQ friends, etc but let their child be that and its oh hell no!

I will say that her having this conversation shows that she wants to learn and bridge that gap. She wants to undo that conditioning that society & community taught her that being LGBTQ is wrong. Or at least that's my interpretation.
