It's hard for working black actresses like her, so for mama to stay booked is a blessing.

It's probably a reach, but I really hope the (old) pic Lee and Brandy shared on their story last week means she is going to be in his next FX series, "The Spook who sat by the door."

i caught that post! I was trying to guess based on the song he used in his story

I think they're definitely working together and he can push her as an actress

And he posted the book right before that photo in his story. Also, Frank Garson was teaching Brandy about Paula Kelly. I wonder if that's a coincidence, or if there had been discussions for Brandy to play the character Paula played in the original. Anyway, that's my dream lol

Sounds like a new cast overall with guest appearances which might be nice.  I wonder if they'll bring in some new faces we haven't seen in Hollywood yet.
