Thanks Ken. My mom's with me for an extended Mother's Day visit. I saw your thread and decided to go. I always thought it was for kids but your thread made me go. We went to the Center for Civil and Human Rights, ate at Ted's Montana Grill up the road on Luckie St, walked back to the plaza for the GA Aquarium, and then got ice cream at the Nitrogen Ice Cream place across Centennial Olympic. I knew about the aquarium but really felt it was for the kids. YOUR thread made me go. It was busy and crowded as hell but it was a BEAUTIFUL day. The alligator crossing and dolphin show were the best.

The Ocean Voyager was cool with the moving floor. It was SO busy. I thought it'd be kind of calm on a Sunday evening but not the fuck at all.

And the fat lady that ran up the stairs during the Dolphin Show. Hun they gave you ample warning that the first 10 rows were splash seats

omg . i think we got lucky cuz we went on a weekday evening (friday)

but i know exactly wat ur talking about. it wasn't THAT busy at all but even when a lil bit of peolel started crowding in, it totally disturbed the experience a bit.

at least u got to see the shows though. they weren't active when we went. maybe cuz it was like an hour before closing

!!!! The way we had to squeeze, duck, and maneuver to get some views and pics. We couldn't fully take in the experience. When one person left a spot at the viewing glass another FLEW over. Not to mention wheelchairs, strollers, and big families. If I go back I'll go on a rainy weekday when they're dead. Not a sunny weekend.
