"they" has never made sense to me.

It implies plural as in both genders, but then JC' is saying that non-binary doesn't mean both genders so...

Being non-binary means being neither male or female. We already use they/them/their in everyday English as a placeholder for when a gender isn't specified. 🤷🏾‍♂️

they/them/their definitely isn't used everyday on that context

the fact of the matter is that all non binary people adhere to gender policing mindsets. thats a fact. they calculate what being a "he" or "she" is based on what society says it is. if they didn't, they would claim their born gender and simply define it on thejr own terms. that's not me putting them in a box. thats just the plain logic of the situation.
