I went there over the weekend
Was gonna make a thread about it but forgot

The interactive display of the lunch counter sit in protests..

I couldn't bring myself to do it. Just LOOKING at people do it made me so emotional .

Like this shit really went down... made it so much more real .

The chairs had actual KICKING and PUSHING motions to them, u could hear it . And then the people had headphones in which has the voices of people screaming at theme etc

Me and mom did it. Yes the chairs and the table that we put our hands on were vibrating. Mom read so many civil rights books that it didn't phase her.
