Flamboyant gays will always get more media coverage cuz it's more "fun" .

And the comments in this thread are kinda why I was confused about why so many gay men were upset with Nipseys comments about gay feminine men being pushed in the media

Even as a gay non-masculine guy I could kinda see where he's coming from , just as I can understand where non-feminine gay men are coming from when they complain about the lack of representation

It's not a figment of the imagination that the media favors flamboyant gay representation over more relaxed or tamed teas.

You see how your mind has been programmed?  You see gay and you automatically associate it with being soft, effeminate, and "girly". That's how gays, and society, see each other based on perception. The fact that one is gay period discredits them in our society no matter how masculine they appear to be. It's why gay men are so caught up on the elusive trade.
