U ain't did no fckn research. Ur basing ur opinion on the fact that yo mama gave u milk and that's what u know so "THATS WHAT UR SUPPOSED TO GIVE A BABY". U dont know what this bitch knows nor do u know who shes consulted about what shes giving her fckn baby. A fag passing judgement with no real foundation for anything other than his uninformed ass opinion. Sit back, looney toon

You are giving this ignorant crazy bitch way too much credit.

I just looked up alternatives to cows milk (vegan parents) and hemp milk was literally right there on the list. Im gonna assume this girl did her due diligence and consulted a medical doctor.  Yea,  not listening to yall in here
for older babies Yh not for newborns though
Like I said, from what I read,  it's BEST they have cows milk but as long as u supplement nutrients then it looks like it's doable.  We don't know who this girl consulted,  ONCE AGAIN

Vonc newborns don't drink cows milk. You are sounding ignorant as fuck in here.

She's definitely the weirdest out of all the new girls. And that's saying a lot, since my girl Doja is very ... eccentric as well

Almost

Newborns aren't supposed to have anything but milk, their stomachs aren't adapted for it yet and all the nutrients they need comes from milk or formula, their tummies are so small if you feed them with anything else your essentially depriving them with the nutrients they need from it
And your setting them up with gastric issues later on in life because their digestive systems aren't like ours yet, they can't handle anything else
That's why they progress from milk to soft foods, to soups, cereals etc

Especially honey, it contains a bacteria that's ok for adults because were used to it but their stomach aren't, it could actually kill them
I don't have baby, but my brother had a 5 month old and I've learnt a lot  :dead:

All this is true. I just had a baby a year and a half ago.

But do we even know that's what she's feeding her baby or is it just in the picture?  I have a hard time believing that her obstetrician or pediatrician has not told her what to feed the baby.

What Causes Infant Botulism?

Infant botulism is caused by a toxin (a poison) from Clostridium botulinum bacteria, which live in soil and dust. The bacteria can get on surfaces like carpets and floors and also can contaminate honey. That's why babies younger than 1 year old should never be given honey. These bacteria are harmless to older kids and adults. That's because their mature digestive systems can move the toxins through the body before they cause harm.Infant botulism usually affects babies who are 3 weeks to 6 months old. But all babies are at risk for it until their first birthday.

What Are the Signs & Symptoms of Infant Botulism?
Babies with infant botulism might have:

constipation (often the first sign that parents notice)
weak facial muscles that makes their face look "flat"
a weak cry
weak muscles in the arms, legs, and neck
breathing problems
trouble swallowing with a lot of drooling

Oh wow babies who have this have to be treated in ICU.

I love me some Badu, I hope she didn't teach her this crazy recipe..like maybe get a real doctor to guide you through this process instead of DIY projects. You can't really test or take these risks with a fragile little baby.

I am afraid she just had a baby at home with Badu and she just told her "do whatever feels good" and now Summer is just making some DIY concoctions inspired by Pinterest or instagram pages.

One google search et voila..
But I feel sad when I heard this because the baby could literally die. And I see all kinds of memes on Twitter but it's a very serious problem if she does give them Honey, Hemp, no milk/formula. I really hope this teaches people more about nutrition for babies..there are so many vitamins needed and the antibodies in breastmilk could help a baby so much.
