i didnt book my hotel for the full 10 days so
i was saying i guess if i didnt plan the whole trip out things would be left up in the air (and they shouldn't be left up in the air because i got family all up in thru philly)  and like the og post i just didnt plan for that scenario so i was figuring out as i go lol

but i refused to check back in to a hotel around thanksgiving spending my last coins on it 

you said 3 days wasnt enough heads up but hmmphm

right and that was never the situation i was more emotionally upset than anything  that it was even a question
and in the op i said i had very low money which in traveling terms i had 1200 in cash and 600 on my credit card it wasnt 5k in the account but it wasnt broke either

but after i got back i had $250 lefft so that went no where

i was piggybacking off of the annual thanks giving with black families hastag






and do you not remmeber that scene from SOULFOOD when cousin faith walked in and maxine started sayin on terri she gon stay at your place cause she cant stay with me kenny and the kids?

yeah there is a general theme experienced by black families for these situations not all but alot

me pondering the thought of what could happen if i didn't have my whole tripp booked out is not me being broke and stranded in philly

maybe a close call
but if things didn't pan out i would have went to a hostel or something like they said
or took Dorian up on his offer to hawaii
or went back home

because i did have enough funds to do all those things even though it wasn't a big travel budget i wanted
