Option 1: Yes.
Option 2: Coon, plea.

Kwee is beautiful but I don't trust ha
I don't ever see myself believing anything she does is "heartfelt". That whole "angry black woman" apology she came with was offensive in itself and shows how DISCONNECTED she is .
She couldn't even fake apologize correctly with the right language . :omf: like a damn white womuh or something
How do U manage to do FURTHER damage by promoting stereotypes of black women with ur APOLOGY
:plzstop:
What's to forgive? :uhh:
I don't fuck with her and still wouldn't if she apologized. She was very aware of what she was doing and now it blew up in her face.
I can see if she made an honest mistake, but her cooning was a conscious effort and was harmful to our community.
People like that don't deserve forgiveness.

Yes because she's woman enough to admit her mistakes of outright cooning, unlike Candace. Who owes the entire black community the most sincerest apologies for all the vitriol she's been spewing over the years to advance her political career and make money off of it. Karma getting that ass. Candace is gonna gag. Already is.
I think she said what she said..

I am glad she snapped out of it. But the Capitol riots were after Trump was fired. There were already so many red flags before.
Didn't she get arrested and had trouble in her relationship? I do believe what she said that she had personal problems and that somewhat explains her behavior.
So yes I feel bad for her in a way and I'm glad she won't be in politics anymore but also don't really know what it means to give her another chance. I have no clue if she is still acting.

Same thing that Chrisette Michele was talking about
Kanye is a man. For one.
2, he's much more valuable than they are from an entertainment angle. Not because he's a man, but his contributions to our culture far outweigh Stacey's 2 movies and Chrisette's ... hit song. We don't "forgive" these people because they are people, we show them that we forgive them by the way we consume their offerings. And he continues to feed us. He's more present, stands in his mess and doesn't cower away in silence, and fights for us to pay attention to him again. Those differences have to play a part in the way we accept him back.
FUCK Kanye
(https://uploadir.com/u/4urf190o)
And again who is Stacey Dash?
She's the Black girl in Clueless. Then what? A pretty face with White features? Oh, in this age of pro-Black everything, from politics to phenotypes, I see why the gorls arent tripping over themselves to save her. She's not a fkn commodity anymore. Gone.

someone's influence/power does matter
look at the backlash Oprah got for going after those Black men with those specials she was doing
it was way easier for HER to brush mess under the rug because she's "Oprah". people were more willing to forgive her and let it go because she's "Oprah". Her career survived the HIT of backlash because she's "Oprah".
It really does matter and make a huge difference.
doesn't make anyone less or more wrong...it's just the way it works.

how things work in general. and brought Oprah...who is a bLack woman....to the conversation
Black women get away with things too as well if they have enough influence and money.

i think ur real concern really should be why people with lots of money and power get to do what they want.
cuz if u talk to mo'nique she'll definitely tell you that Oprah got away with a lot of mess she did to her AND her family because she's "Oprah".
she's said it a million times.

cuz it's not about people "allowing" power and influence to matter
power and influence have real effects which many cannot opt-out of when they feel like it.
mo'nique didn't "allow" Oprah's influence to overshadow what she did to her family
Oprah basically did what she wanted to do and all Mo'nique could scrream as loud as she could afterwards HOPING someone would hear her over the audience cheers for Oprah lol.

No they aren't.
The acceptance of an entertainer back into our households is solely reliant on what they are feeding us with for that is the measure by which we value them......... because they are entertainers. That's why I made the distinction between accepting an apology and leaving it there, and allowing a disgraced entertainer to prosper again. Chrisette isnt worried about you or me accepting her apology. She's questioning why she doesn't have a seat at that table anymore, but Kanye does. someone's influence/power does matter
only if u allow it to. it's a choice. and its a double standard. nothing is changing that fact.
Based on what? Oprah is a woman :uhh:
popularity? yall realize gender ain't the only way double standards can be exercised, right ?
i haven't mentioned gender in this thread ONCE
You're ducking and dodging. But I'll entertain this, too.
When you said
Quotethose "differences" are nothing more than attempts to justify a double standard, tbh
And if you're now claiming the double standard is "clout", then why would I need to justify it? :kii: The differences I listed were an artist's propensity to persevere and work hard to become accepted into our homes again. Popularity, brand, and clout play a major part in that as well. So if we're talking about Kanye West vs. Chrisette fkn Michelle...... that's not a double standard it just... IS.
To flourish as an entertainer you HAVE to be popular/have clout :dead: There's noting that needs to be justified, it's a fkn logical requirement. You're literally just talking to be talking right now.

Those differences have to play a part in the way we accept him back.

And the obvious answer is what have you done for us lately?
all you did here was explain WHY you support the double standard.
also kanye apologized ?
You don't make any sense, I used specific names not any pronouns. A popular and undeniable female artist could also very well redeem themselves in the same manner :dead:. Nowhere in my statement did I say that wasn't a possibility :uhh:
all you did was! double standard! boy gone.
boy you not even understanding what im saying
i ain't said nothing about what a female artist could or could do hypothetically
im saying that what is HAPPENING is a double standard.
oh kanye make good music so hes forgive but christette aint giving shit si throw ha away.
OR
oh kanye make good music so hes forgive but stacey, whats the last thing she played in. throw ha away.
THOSE are double standards. period. kanye aint even apologize, the other two at least tried.im really not seeing whats confusing about this.
They don't want Oph to forgive them. They want seats at the industry table. I dont know how many more ways I can explain that the way we show an artist that we as consumers forgive them, is to support their ventures, create a demand for them again. So yes, they have to PUT OUT in order for that to happen. Me questioning the last thing Stacey has done for us makes total sense. Jesus Christ.

i thought the gorls were wondering why kanye is still thriving
no we weren't. we know its a double standard.
double standard based on gender?
popularity. gender plays a part as well.
so, clout? After you just said clout has no relevance to what you're talking about.
So what are you even talking about?
incorrect. i said rich people doing what they want because they have money has no relevance to what im talking about
so what are YOU even talking about?
You said popularity. Its in the quote, from you.
Im done in here. Ew.
Beginning to see what the gorls mean, I just hadnt experienced it nnnnnnn. Love you
:omf:
do you even know what a double standard is?
Quoteyou claiming the double standard is "clout"
like what? i never said what the double standard was BASED on because a) i don't know for sure i just have my ideas (popularity) and b) it could be a culmination of multiple things
all i know is that one EXISTS as evidence by the differences in the way these celebs have been handled by the public
your response "was well its different because kanye contribute as an artist blah blah blah"
i don't give a shit about none of that. hes a pround trump supporting coon to this DAY who never apologized for anything he's said or done, but he supposed to be given a pass cuz current! makin mus! while these others get cancelled for less. yea, if anyone cant see how thats a double standard, im just gon pray
it aint about what oph want. oph just calling it what it IS

i think ur real concern really should be why people with lots of money and power get to do what they want.
that's always a concern of mine, but has no relevance to the topic i presented
for anyone needing a refresher
