someone's influence/power does matter

only if u allow it to. it's a choice. and its a double standard. nothing is changing that fact.

Based on what? Oprah is a woman  :uhh:
i coulda swore his argument was double standards based on gender

dsddsdssd especially from what i remember last time we had this convo

Those differences have to play a part in the way we accept him back.

those "differences" are nothing more than attempts to justify a double standard, tbh

No they aren't.

The acceptance of an entertainer back into our households is solely reliant on what they are feeding us with for that is the measure by which we value them......... because they are entertainers. That's why I made the distinction between accepting an apology and leaving it there, and allowing a disgraced entertainer to prosper again. Chrisette isnt worried about you or me accepting her apology. She's questioning why she doesn't have a seat at that table anymore, but Kanye does. And the obvious answer is what have you done for us lately?

all you did here was explain WHY you support the double standard.

also kanye apologized ?

The Only BLACK Kalmyks

oph let me clarify this

ur argument is based on gender right?

ur saying it seems black men seem to get away with a tea while the black women do not?

i think i remember being ur stance last time we had this convo...just checking in to make sure im on the same page with you in here.

if not gender, what is the double standard ur referring to specifically?

You don't make any sense, I used specific names not any pronouns. A popular and undeniable female artist could also very well redeem themselves in the same manner  :dead:. Nowhere in my statement did I say that wasn't a possibility :uhh:

all you did was! double standard! boy gone.

double standard based on gender?

popularity. gender plays a part as well.

so, clout? After you just said clout has no relevance to what you're talking about.

So what are you even talking about?

well it's not unreasonable to conclude ur referencing gender when u compare a male to a female and mention a double standard.

and u kinda left plenty of room to do so since u didn't specify anything else. what is the double standard u are referring to specifically?

clarify your point luv

i think ur real concern really should be why people with lots of money and power get to do what they want.

that's always a concern of mine, but has no relevance to the topic i presented

You're ducking and dodging. But I'll entertain this, too.

When you said
Quotethose "differences" are nothing more than attempts to justify a double standard, tbh

And if you're now claiming the double standard is "clout", then why would I need to justify it?  :kii: The differences I listed were an artist's propensity to persevere and work hard to become accepted into our homes again. Popularity, brand, and clout play a major part in that as well. So if we're talking about Kanye West vs. Chrisette fkn Michelle...... that's not a double standard it just... IS.

To flourish as an entertainer you HAVE to be popular/have clout :dead: There's noting that needs to be justified, it's a fkn logical requirement. You're literally just talking to be talking right now.
