Mulattos are not discriminated against in the Black community :plzstop: :plzstop:
Look at Obama, he's half white and we still claim him as Black. :plzstop:
It's the white people who toss mulattos in the trash.
As a light skin Black woman, I have to vehemently disagree with this. I'm not a mulatto, but light skin Blacks are always picked on for not being Black enough or treated like we wanna be white when we don't. It can be really horrible. I lived in a poor, all Black neighborhood and shit like that happened to me a lot. I got a scholarship to go to a rich white school and they were super racist and awful, so you can kinda feel like you have no home. Granted I feel way more comfortable around Black people obviously. But still this is def a problem and if you talk to more light skin Blacks they'll tell you the same. I've heard it from multiple people.

Obama was so damn fine
I mean he still is but I bet all the girls wanted to fuck him
Yh the is a thing with lightskinned/mixed races folks being called out
The me for being soft, too pretty, not masculine enough, weak or too sensitive the women being accused of playing up their 'whiter' side or thinking of themselves as better.
And when either one speaks on colourism there's always a few people disregarding whatever it is they are saying because they aren't 'black enough' or they are 'privileged' enough to have to best of both worlds so whenever they speak darker skinned folk feel as though they are being patronised.
But I think that goes more to their own insecurity.

We've all known a girl like that. My best girl friend was dark skinned and she was called all types of names from black bitch, tar baby, blackie, darkie, jet, etc. That was people's main insult when it came to her...how dark she was.
I just remember being called a mutt, mulatto, being teased for having a trailer trash family and stuff.

No, offense sis, but are you a mulatto? How you gon' tell us our experience? Zendaya admitted that she's privileged in hollywood because she's a light skin biracial. Fake is soft as cotton, but there's no denying that Fake is where he's at because he's light skin. You can find dozen of videos of mulatto men on youtube talking about how they were picked on as children because the other black boys thought they were soft because they were mixed or light skin. Most of your objections of affection are mixed race people. Some of the biggest IG models and tumblr faves are mixed. Are we going to sit up here and deny that? You got black men rushing to get with these white women. Hmm, I wonder why?
I don't feel superior to no one. I'm a person just like anyone else.

I think a lot of Black people see features that are outside of what are typically "Black" on a Black person and begin bashing it, or worshipping it. There's seemingly no in between.
yep!! youre right and its all good i know you didnt mean it!
that makes me think about young jock when he had his Auntie hair cut.. now yes it looked a mess but only cause we arent used to seeing straight black men with hair like that..if someone white did it .. it would be ok

Mulattos are not discriminated against in the Black community :plzstop: :plzstop:
Look at Obama, he's half white and we still claim him as Black. :plzstop:
It's the white people who toss mulattos in the trash.
Well actually speaking from experience i had some darker skin kids in jr high who used to hate on me hard " yew think yew cause you light skin with blue eyes yew think you all that "
also this is kinda different but the Africans who come here dislike black americans cause they think we are better cause we were born here. I think there was a discussion on this before
Nick, you have blue eyes?
:wellheythere:

The only instance of colorism that I've personally seen was the opposite :dead:
This girl from a West African country moved here and came to my middle school and was really dark skinned
A few of the kids were literally cackling in her face, so one day one of the black teachers kicked all the white kids out and she LASHED all of us in the classroom :dead: :dead: :dead: :dead: :dead: :dead:
It stopped after that, fortunately. The girl was crying and I felt so bad for her.

All that matters is you're beautiful and better than them now
Love this woman.
As a mulato myself I have never received any form of discrimination by black people or black communities. I've always felt welcomed and like one of them.
