They just nominate Beyonce for the sake of it.
Has that girl even released anything over the last year?

These award shows are a joke.

It's a shame that girls who released actual ALBUMS are being paid dust just
so they can nominate her ass. Knowing damn well she ain't about to show up.

That slot could have gone to someone more deserving.

This is a mess.

I had more faith in them.

Jazmine & Tamia were snubbed.

Love Bey & Rih but no

Rih (thank God) isn't in it
but Bey did rerelease her album and added 8 songs and like 8 more videos from the MRS Carter tour
she's rightfully eligible

I don't know about Tamia, but Jazmine was snubbed.
She released the best R&B album this year.
Hopefully it's her year at the Grammy's because they sleeping on her.

The SOUL Trains should be more exclusive and catered to the flops.. (Jazmine, Tamar, ect.) gorls who will actually show up. Nearly every winner is not even there...

s

Of course its not her fault, its theirs. I understand and can agree with why the gorls are upset. The Soul Trains is supposed to be catered to the the R&B/Soul acts who are otherwise overlooked and unrecognized at the EBT Awards and every other show. This was kinda all they HAD... leave Bey, Rih, ect for the EBT Awards and every other mainstream award show.. Thats not really what the Soul Train is meant for. Its so disrespectful to these other artists.

Jazmine fucked it up with this weak narrative and esthetic. She should have came with some artsy Kanye West type mess album title and cover and she would be suffocating with Awards and praise.
at least she's being herself

n

That would have been late and desperate. I don't think she's that pressed
"Herself" or just artistically lazy.

Soul Train gives me legendary and iconic. Between Brandy, R. Kelly, Toni, so many legends have been hailed and celebrated via the Soul Trains. To be among them is an honor.

King was honored by Stevie. What kinda legend.

You just said it never MATTERED bby

They made a whole new award just to honor King and Stevie is his biggest inspiration. That's different from a Centric award, hun.

Beyonc? is fooling nobody either though. Always releasing some CRUMBS of tea, just to submit SOMETHING for the Award season.

Between her live albums getting Grammy nods, Why Don't You Love earning her a BET Awards, this Creole bitch has me crying.

But whatev' !

If this was Ghan getting snubbed by Bey Rih and Jans yawl'd be PISS
(http://i.imgur.com/y0EBLzP.gif)
and if Ghan was nominated off the EP we're waiting for no one would say shit
(http://i.imgur.com/y0EBLzP.gif)

The EP itself didn't do much .

7/11 was coo, but come on.

And I love Bey but damns
(http://i.imgur.com/y0EBLzP.gif)
the EP dropped in th eligible period
7/11, and the Flawless remix were both bigger than anything by any of the nods
the only one here who shouldn't be is Janelle
she only has ONE song on an EP in 2015

I mean what r u saying then for girls like Jazmine?

That there's no hope? Give up, or keep making music even tho u KNOW you'll keep getting snubbed?
If you love music
you shouldn't be in it to win awards
but its not Bey's fault that BET keeps putting her in categories based on popularity

I actually agree with this
The Soul Trains is supposed to be catered to the the R&B/Soul acts who are otherwise overlooked and unrecognized at the EBT Awards and every other show.
says who?
sssssss

Im guessing the creators... The awards and categories originally have always been catered to "Soul" artists.  Now you get Rih n Ariana Grande in the noms, with Ledisi n the gorls performing n looking confused in the audience.

originally Aretha, Patti, Whitney, Anita etc used to clean-up
they have always given awards to the BIG names
its just that now R&B as a whole is flopping so they throw Bey in with 4 flops at random

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE BEY & RIH.
They're easily in my top 5 Queens list. But they're mainstream.

And I just feel bad for my Monica's , Tamar's, Brandy's Tamias, Jazmines etc.

They stay true to R&B and shouldnt feel defeated before they even CREATE an album
Because they know the labels and award shows are going to slight them.
It hurts me tbh. I can see how they'd lose drive and motivation. I mean, I would. Or I'd sell out. Or else the label might drop you anyway. The music industry just sucks.
Sick of these whites and coons in power.
