Comments say that he was waiting at a bus stop and "accidentally" pulled out a large wad of cash and the crooks robbed him for it. The sneakers were a bonus.

When I used to ride the bus/train to work, I would carry one of my hand-me-down backpacks with nothing in it to put my store bags in. Just in case I decided to buy something out of Macy's or Footlockers. Don't need an ape to see my bags and get any ideas.
And taking out cash in front of people is a strike no-no where I'm from. Asking for mess.

No but I live and work in St. Louis. The city with the 4th highest murder rate. The nigs here don't care about your life or theirs. Don't advertise what u got to them...
And the worst thing is that it's usually those who are in low income, high crime neighborhoods who will be the first to showcase their prized possessions.
this is coontown
I'm confused by what you mean by that Herbie luv. I didn't want to respond and we making the same point lol

I was referring to Boom's post. People who come from low income neighborhoods treasure these types of items because it gives them a false sense of elevated social class. Which is understandable, many of them grow up with next to nothing and are constantly reminded how low they are on the economic totem pole. A fresh pair of Jordans means the world to them. Some will even work two or three weeks at Mickey Dee's scrubbing floors, cleaning toilets, etc. just to get them.
Others unfortunately resort to less traditionally moral ways of obtaining these goods. As we can see in this vidya.

Yeah it makes me angry because on one hand I want to see my people do better and be better and then I see this. It takes away the hope I have that one day we will be a unified and dignified race. Our Men are ruining us

!!!!
The irony.
Part of me can't understand things like this because I wasn't raised to put so much value into material things. My grandmother would make a trip to Payless Shoesource real quick to get us sneakers and shoes, but we were perched in a private school for most of my childhood.
And it's not like she chose quality education over our appearance or something, she still kept us looking decent. She just knew where money should be really be spent.
I'd have to say I kind of adapted the same principles. Which is why when I saw people with that whole "IPhone countryclub" movement I was sitting like :udontlookok: So you guys work for 3 weeks, bust your ass and slave to purchase something you really cannot afford? Just to say you have it? :uhh: :uhh: :plzstop:
Not to say everyone had to do that, but let's be realistic. many of them do.
I have to be able to justify a large purchase. Otherwise I feel stupid for spending. And it has to be something that will fit will into my budget. The fuck I look like going broke to put on a show for some niggers that probably don't even use me. :plzstop: :plzstop:
