I liked this episode. It wasnt fast paced, but it was real af. I enjoyed it more than last week, and found it funnier, especially when all the ladies were 2gether in their costumes bantering.

The writing is sharp but they substitute depth and character growth with kiis
Molly was actually... right in this episode :uhh:
It seems like this season is gonna be about Molly falling out w/ Issa and shit going left in ppl's lives at the end during the block party. Previous seasons were pretty unpredictable to a degree but so far, I coulda probably guess what this episode wouldve been and the story line is pretty much right at the same place we left off last week.
But overall I did like it. Cause it wasnt as overdramatic as we may want it to be, but it really was a pretty real episode.
I think everyone will be back since this is the final season.

Well, you aren't wrong to see faults in issa and her personality/ways of going about things. She's FAR from perfect, but Molly couldn't just let her have this one thing and it's very telling IMO.
I will say, i don't like people using this show as a means to indict everyone's character in real life. I just side more with Issa and especially in this moment, even though it took a lot for them to reach this point.
As of right now, Molly needs to be the one to reach out and at least apologize for confronting her the way she did in that moment of ALL moments. I truly think the event going without a hitch really got to Molly and that fueled her fire even further. :dead:

I don't see how people didn't enjoy it. I love how all of her actions (trying to help the woman in the store, giving George a ride, ensuring Nate doesn't feel used) were in an attempt to refute Molly's words.
I liked how the mirror is now a character and how Mirror Issa was always there to push her to something except that last scene when she was looking at Molly. Mirror Issa gave "Girl, you know what to do..."
It was just great.

Haven't read the last page or so, but i really loved this episode and Jay Ellis (Lawrence) did a GREAT job directing it. I fucking knew the second they showed Molly meeting Andrew's family in the preview, that their relationship would likely be in danger due to the racial tension or cultural differences
She obviously knew Andrew was Asian, but he never really opened up or even spoke his language like that around her, so i think reality began to sink in for her and she now knows what she wants moving forward. I think she'll eventually dump Andrew and declare her yearning for black men ONLY.

I just wish they tied this in with another episode, but I do like that we found out about Nate's mental health. It's like, Molly thinks things are either black or white, and she saw with Nate, there are shades of gray. Nate just wasn't being a fuck boy, he had real issues.

I really didn't think they'd go the typical route with this pregnancy storyline. I love how that final scene was shot
between Lawrence, Condola and Issa, but im disappointed in the direction that went in. And even though Tiffany's postpartum depression was hinted at, it certainly didn't call for this drawn out search and rescue mission :uhh:
I realize that they were using that situation as a conduit of some kind to help bring Molly and Issa back together, but it was weak and lazy for me, along with Kelli's weak and unnecessary punchlines that simply fell flat last night.

Their entire dynamic will change now, and everything they were thinking about doing simply can't happen now. This is his first child and he's not going to wanna be way out in San Francisco :dead: not to mention it's their first time truly reconnecting after the breakup, and they were together for 5 years. That's a long time and a big deal, so im sure Issa imagined that if they ever had children, his first child would be with her.
Every single thing Lawrence does will now have to revolve around the child. He's an overall good guy, so even though Condola gave him an out, you know he's gonna go into full daddy mode.

she started to say it, but got too emotional. She said "just when we finally ...." And i think she was referring to the fact that they were seemed to be FINALLY headed in a direction that didn't include mess, confusion and dysfunction. Now, that's all it will be for years to come and they have no choice unless Issa decides she wants out before it gets too deep and serious again.

Not sure where ur getting "anger" from because many people would be taken aback and maybe even a little hurt if they were starting over with someone on a clean slate, seemingly without any crazy exes or secrets, and things just end up getting messy and confusing again all in less than 48 hours.
