And why not have a POP category for BLACK pop artists like OMI, Jason DeR?lo, Flo Rida etc. They are many black artists who slay the scene who never get the respect from these shows, and I am sure they would be glad to support and show love.

Musically Adele is even more centric than Rih. But yh they could have created a new seperate POP mess and not water down R&B even more.

I think the cut-off is around February for the nods
K Michelle's album just released this year too and is in the running
and Bey is mainly nominated for Formation and not the album
