Lemme know when music is coming. These acting gigs aren't it. Queen might say she has fun acting, but it's not what makes her GREAT.

On the contrary, the acting gigs are IT. Acting is making Brandy more money than music these days. If Brandy mentioned that she made a loss for the B7 album, I wouldnt be surprised. Music doesnt pay the bills guys. Its the side projects that do. And she needs to earn her money. I dont blame her one bit for going where the money resides.

Doing things JUST for money is NOT it...

She gotta make money baby to take care of herself however she can. This the real world.

i doubt brandy is at risk for becoming homeless.

She doesn't have to be, but there have been people more successful than her who have. If you're not Tom Cruise and demanding 20 million a picture you won't make as much for every film. She actually would make more as a series regular on a tv series tbh.

Variety has an article out that the writers likely will be striking after their contract ends.  Deadline has an article that actors & directors might end up striking too.

So let Bran get her coins. She loves acting & said she wanted to take it serious in 2020. Her agent clearly is putting in the work for her since then and keeping her booked. 

I just hope she sees that she needs a new publicist prior to her promo run.

I am sure she's quiet and only doing reposts on IG and comments because Hollywood is in a tizzy bc of the potential strikes.  WGA's contract ends on 5/1, SAG & DGA on 6/30.

For me Brandy's acting roles haven't been my favorite but it has put her out there for her to get these new opportunities. I think the Netflix film and The Front Room will be her best work.
