we're adults
it can stay open
there's no problem with ratings

i think people just want to let the show itself outweigh the numbers, regardless of what they are

when I think of all the shows I love right now, the last thing on my mind are ratings - leave that up to the network to deal with

i gotcha i'm just a TV gorl i love ratings and mess  :plzstop:

don't get wrong, i love to know the background mess too
but... i don't know, maybe I'm just over thinking about ratings/sales right now
but i can't project that onto everyone else and expect them to follow suit

i mean, let's be real
the fact that the main star can't catch it/watch it herself is due to its timeslot

i literally have to set my night up around that time frame
it's not a show you just "catch"
it's on too late

yeah BET ain't got shit on during 8-10 hrs

i think 8 or 9 would be perfect

I personally enjoy the rating updates.  I like to be informed how the show is being received by the public.  I do hope the ratings pick up some and consistently sit over a mil.  I'm sure Bran wouldn't want big names as a part of the cast, ya'll know Bran likes to be the reason for her own success, and I feel her.

but that's the thing... ratings doesn't show the whole picture of how the show is being perceived.
everyone that i know whose into the show is not even watching it on TV.
they watch it online. On their phone. during their lunch break. on their iPad, over the weekend.
i mean...

No disrespect but I said Received not Perceived.  IMO, a show that is being received well will increases in ratings via word of mouth and stay steady by viewers tuning in the next week.  That isn't happening, people are not doing too much talking and people are actually opting not to watch, per the ratings.  Perceive is someones personal perception or opinion, which I agree, does not have a direct impact on the ratings.

I don't see how posting ratings of a show is negative. I think anyone would wanna know the progress it's making.

I appreciate seeing the ratings. Thank you for posting. Just because some of you get depressed and in your feelings doesn't meant the rest of us don't want to be informed.

Suggestion...If you want to "just enjoy the show," then either stop paying attention to the ratings threads OR stop making the low ratings be such a big deal. It's really not the end of the world lolz

!!! We can't "enjoy" the show but so much if it gets snatched off the damn air. Nothing wrong with the gorls being concerned and worried about the future of the show...

They show old reruns of House of Pain.  I'm sure they could be showing Zoe at 9, instead.

I was about to say there might be too much competition on network tv from 8-10 and maybe that's why it starts at 10pm
but i just looked the schedule. could definitely benefit from an earlier start time, and more shows before and after it

the ones saying "just enjoy the show" are not the ones being depressed over ratings, if you look back at what was posted.

if anything, i think the majority of us FORGOT this was a Zoe ratings thread.
We kind of derailed it and was just talking about the CONTENT of the show.

But it is what it is.

I don't mind the ratings being posted, but I don't want people to bring negative energy to whatever number they see, and then miss out on the experience of the show itself.

And of course, you can do both. See the ratings and enjoy the show.

there's nothing wrong with it.
but when i realized that the TV ratings don't reflect the overall reach, i couldn't rely on it as much. People are watching the show online, etc.

Even Shades of Blue, that new J.Lo show - i have yet to see it on TV. I watch on Hulu.com. So TV ratings don't reflect the overall picture.
