You can tell he studied Timbaland's production style. I feel like the melody could be a bit more exciting though. It's a bit repetitive.

Amorphous is a huge Aaliyah stan so I'm sure he is influenced by Tim.

I listened three times and liked it more each time. The beat is really good but I don't love it yet, it's just okay. I disagree about it being better than anything on b7 though. B7 is very inconsistent, but there are some brilliant moments on it. There are no brilliant moments on this song. BUT I like that it's not so buttoned up,  overthought, and tense like most of b7 was. It's the relaxed vibe that I felt that album was missing.
