Scherzinger is a German name. White America should have taken some effort trying to pronounce it correctly. It's kinda connected to their culture.

That being said, she went by the name Nicole Kea right before she joined PCD. That name sounded cute.

It's still a running joke in certain spaces  makes me think of Frank Ocean pivoting from "Lonny Breaux" and this fairly new Artist named DIXSON that Beyoncé is now working with. The latter made very little noise until he changed his name and altered his brand a bit.

It's comical to me that Americans have trouble pronouncing Scherzinger.
Schwarzenegger is literally more complicated but no one seems to have a problem with that name.

i think its cuz they heard it so much for movies, etc

they always announce the actors name in movie commercials/trailers, etc

and his name kinda fit the mess cuz its so EXTRA and dramatic just like the movies he was in

i think its cultural. ive grown up around Tamikas and Daquans so i know exactly how to say their names
but i can see someone who isn't familiar being shy about it

making mistakes that may seem just silly to us:
saying "Tam-meh-kah" instead of the correct pronunciation "Tah-mee-kah", etc.

white folks are more likely to have those europeans with those specific crazy names in their own families.

im sure curry indians think their names are simple and should be easy to pronounce but
