it's a genre thing

if you look at the 90s-early 00s
the billboard was dominated by R&B, which allowed more black artists to thrive.

the climate just changed, as it always does.

Where there AWESOME performances by a black actor last year? just because there were some roles played by black actors doesnt mean SOME have to be nominated for the sake of "diversity".

Its about the best performances. Seems like some people dont get this yet.

Where are the asian actors nominations?
the latin ones?
the spanish ones?
