Aaliyah has gotten a lot of critism on here, it's just that the majority of the board has grown up over the last decade and a half.

Honestly i just think you're just annoyed at Aaliyah because she gets a lot of praise and admiration you wish Mya had 

actually no I was praising the album with everyone else. I made that comment and Lonz whined. Afro, Rig and a few other ppl said they actually liked how Static sounded and it was over. THEN maybe ten pages later ppl started listing the tracks they liked from most to least and I said I was glad ppl finally were saying which songs they didnt like
and I wasn't the only one who dared to complain. I dont care that this girl gets more praise than Mya, the problem simply is ppl rarely ever genuinely give criticism of her like they do for everyone else. The few times ppl do criticize, YOU and Lonz get buck, and other ppl clutch their pearls like its blasphemy

The kids should get paid period. But for a long time all that streaming money was used for his crimes, to pay lawyers, publicists..the support of his fans and consumers made it easier for him to continue his 'lifestyle'. The victims should get money first in my opinion for all the mess he put them through (but I don't know if that's part of the lawsuit since it's not a civil case.)
