If it weren't for me being half Kenyan, I wouldn't know shit. And I noticed a lot of my black friends don't know much either, educated or not. 

There aren't many books or films on African culture here.

If it weren't for the internet coming into existence, I'm sure people would think even worse of Africa as a whole.
