It's not the same.
A white woman with blond hair and blue eyes is seen as the standard of beauty in America.
Then why would anyone blackfish?
Are people like Kim actually helping to level that same playing field you spoke of? Blurring the lines a bit, you know, flipping the script real ally-ish?
I meant that blond hair and blue eyes is "a" Standard or beauty in America.
Its kinda arguable whether it's "THEE" standard in 2021 ... especially among certain populations
And a lot of these non black women are "mixed-fishing" in reality . Creating a look of being more "exotic " and cashing in on a trend of mixed and racially ambiguous people being more popular and visible in the media these days.
Make no mistake . Most of these women are not trying to look unambiguously black. They want that midpoint look ... of black mixed with something else.
Here's the issue. Kim is not Black. At all. Her momma ain't black, daddy ain't black... grandma grandpa .. no one . U can climb up her family tree for generations and not one negro will appear. Fnnfnfnfnf and it's evident in her appearance . She's just armenian. Dassit.
So for her , and her sister khloe as non black women ... to sit around and play dress up as women of black descent . It's just not their place to do it
And for women who are of actual black/African descent ...whether they're mixed or not .. who've experienced the brunt of stereotyping and unfair labeling for wearing the same styles that were created by their community...
It's a slap in the face . Kim , and women like her, hop IN and OUT of blackness as they see fit. They'll get black for one occasion and strut their Armenian stuff for the next. For those who can't do that....I hope you can see why it's offensive.
