I used Heidi Klum as an example. Not someone with Native ancestry.

She's a white woman, who loves her kid's kinky hair. They're not Native, or Hispanic, they're black with kinky hair and she doesn't want anyone touching it. She saves it. Some mothers take this seriously. You guys are overlooking that.

We're not talking about Heidi though.  :plzstop: You dont know if this woman puts their hair in baggies to keep. But we can all pretty clearly see the scorned undertone throughout the entire video. You're overlooking that. You're talking about Heidi Klum putting her adopted kids' hair in a ziploc and not Carla who is doing stunts and shows in front of her kids using a haircut as a green light to act a fool. If it wasnt the haircut it woulda been their toy trains, exceeding the allotted time for visits, the number of car seats in the car, oh wait...... she nit picked all that too

The woman was petty and bitter. She tried to be technical and she was a bad example for this children.

But then I can understand sometimes you just get really mad over little things like this, but you still need to have composure.

Herb.

You guys are saying I'm trying to turn something to a hair debate

when the whole thing was based on a haircut
My focus and argument is different, not random. know the difference.

sis i love you but no.
its not that we're overlooking it; its that you arent looking past the hair/race/culture thing.
and we know maybe its because of your latest personal revelations in this area.

but whats going on in the video and whats being discussed has A LOT more to do other things than hair. and its rooted with the hate and bitterness this woman has for this man Earl. And whats scariest about the whole video is we see a 3 generation depiction coming into to form before our eyes. we see the grandmother who is obviously just as scorned and distracted by her own bitter emotions that she too was unable to keep the focus of her anger on and about the hair. and we see it happening with the baby mother. whats scariest about her is that she is also CREATING the next generational cycle right before our very own eyes. but this time to her 2 little black sons. shes dangerous. those poor little boys...smh. they will grow up in an environment where two of the most important women in their lives are okay with being driven by bitter and spiteful emotions. it gets deep..and scary.

the entire video is sad; and your points on hair are extremely valid as to WHY both women could be mad.
but again, whats going on in the video and whats being discussed isnt about why they're mad its about how they're handling that "anger" and how the children are being used and affected by it all.

I also used Tia as an example. A black woman with a black child. Who maintains her son's hair.

Honestly I think this conversation would be totally different if it were girls who had their head shaven off by dad. It would be horrific, unthinkable, how could he. And anyone who says it wouldn't is a liar.

AFRO SIS.

Who would do that though?

You can't just.... TAKE your daughter somewhere and get her a lil bootsie fade without it being clear that you wanted mess. He took the lil niggas to get haircuts like most dads, uncles do............. :melmel:

Guys, I'm just now realizing she used those kids to block him from backing up :plzstop: omg :kii: No wonder they were hiding behind the bumper. WTF! :uhh:
!!!!

truly disgusting.
its just a small foreshadow of her showing that she's able to put her kids in harms way to get what she wants not only out of Earl, but mainly for HERSELF. disgusting.

he coulda brought those kids to her the same way she dropped em off and her argument woulda been why DIDNT u get them a haircut. It was NOT about a haircut. Thats what she chose to take issue with because she was a scorned fool. If the argument and the entire video wouldve focused SOLELY on that and not all this other mess then maybe I could atleast TRY and see what ur saying. She went from telling the kids to scratch his car, to he couldnt pick up or kiss the kids because he was over time, to Q&Aing another child, like PLEA!

No, it was based on the mom claiming to be the custodial parent therefore the dad should've asked her first if they could've got a haircut  :plzstop:

and this:

has me in tears  :plzstop:

But the grandmother said herself they the children had already been given a haircut though, so how could the haircut be the problem?
We don't know what she meant by hair cut. Hair cut could mean a simple trim, a shape up, etc. Hair cut is very general and doesn't always mean completely shaven off.

And even if she is maintaining their mess with cuts it makes me wonder even more why he would get it cut AGAIN. What was the point or logic in that?

You know damn well what she meant by a haircut  :plzstop:

You're just on your whole ancestry/natural hair wave, luv  :plea: Not everyone is going to share those viewpoints. Especially African Americans.

Because it's not....there's a bigger issue she has.

And I don't believe he cut off some flowing adonis locks and curls because as talkative as that bitch was, she would have mentioned that, I'm sure.

I already said multiple times how wrong she is.
And how immature she acted.

Why do you guys keep overlooking that?

I'm just saying that she could have genuinely been triggered.
Sometimes people act a fool when they are set off by something. Depending on their personality.

I understand.

You think the haircuts triggered a genuine reaction.

I think it gave her a reason to be a bitch.
