Spotify placed a bid against other streaming services to get the exclusive rights to his podcast. $100 million is outrageous, but maybe it's over 10 years. Still, I agree that it's unfair to artists.

I could care less how much these artists make from streams. Werent they making similar amounts from physical album sales and single sales too? Artists have never made money from streams, radio play, album sales, etc. Their money has always come from elsewhere.
