Ehh, let the whites give him awards.  NAACP usually honors people who will only get their award, or a Soul Train Award or something.  Honor the folks just doing R&B.

maybe some of u just don't like Jennifer ? That's something to consider

she recently had what is sure to be a career highlight for her with that role  and I'm not shocked she got an NAACP aWard behind it if she did a good job portraying someone who was undoubtedly affected by that whole civil rights era that kinda pushed the NAACP to the forefront of black minds to begin with

It's a huge reason why that movie may have resonated with them greatly. It's not rocket science
