Yea I agree. There were times that I felt her perspective and other times when she was completely off and playing victim

Tamar is another VICTIM. But yes, she brings all her mess on herself.  I've never seen her side of things, unlike traci

i just think tamar may have been babied too much by them

she def has that youngest sibling/family member syndrome
that "baby of the family" tea

shes used to getting away with certain things,  and being handled with kiddy gloves
so when she's actually held accountable, she's taken aback a bit.

i stopped calling my bvy sis "the baby of the family" and all that mess for that very reason.
i show her a lot of tough love these days when she needs it, and telling her "no" a lot more often .
goddess was def like  when i first started implementing it

but a light bulb went off for her once she got a huge promotion at her job. she thanked me for pushing her.
thankfully it didn't take her a whole decade for her to GET it.

They used to dog her in the earlier seasons before she started standing up for herself.

I don't wanna change the tone of the thread but what specifically did they do to traci in earlier seasons that was them treating her so bad? I think traci definitely had a bit of bitterness for everyone moving on with their lives and careers and she lived in that space entirely too long.  ALSO, j lowkey think her sisters and mom felt some kinda way about traci remaining cool with her father AND his mistress throughout that whole divorce thing. They never went into that but I always suspected it

Other than toni telling her she wanted her to drop 25 lbs IMMEDIATELY I honestly cant think of anything mean they specifically did to traci

They definitely gave her the "ugly duckling" or "oddball" or "one is not like the others...." treatment

it was very low key . And maybe not purposely done but it was there - in the ether .

She wasn't delusional if that's what she was feeling from them .

She was clearly the underdog

You can tell Toni had been holding that in. And I'm sure Traci felt that from Toni long before she actually verbalized it .
